In addition to its historical significance, the area surrounding the monastery is characterized by favorable climatic conditions for the cultivation of fruits and vegetables, as well as a secluded and picturesque environment. Pimentón De la Vera, renowned for its distinctive flavor, originated in this area. Moreover, the building in this location has held significant importance, serving as a school and having various uses for the local community over time.
